I took this pic from the terrace of a house, on my recent trip to an ignored place called Yemen. This was the shortest, fastest and the most spontaneous trip I have ever taken in my life. I was there for only 28 hours.
While what it looks like a city teeming with splendid ancient architecture, teasing the eyes with its amber and white coloured buildings, it is also a place currently known as the most humanitarian crisis in the world.
I went there on a short notice, for a research I was doing in regards to a humanitarian seminar that will be happening in London later this year.
I came back with grief over the wretchedness. The war happening there was uninteresting to me, I didn’t even care about who is right or wrong, but what I saw there was innocent people suffering without food and aid.
World, let’s help stop this!!!
